Dodo Versino

🇮🇹 Italy

Born in Rome in 1982, Dodo develops since a child a great passion for choral singing. As a child he begins with classical piano and when he is 16 he joins the vocal ensemble “Entropie Armoniche”. Later he starts to work as an actor and dubber, while playing keyboards in some rock bands.

In 2003 he is founder of the a cappella vocal group “Anonima Armonisti”. In 2006 he gains a Master’s Degree in Musicology and in the same year he founds the choir “Cantering”. Since 2012 he has been working as a choir director in several Roman high schools, bringing music to teenagers and making a distinct contribution to the development of vocal practice in the high school system (where music is otherwise mostly not present, unfortunately).

Presently he conducts the “Coro della Collina” and the “Coro Zenzero” and sings as a bass in the vocal quintet “Occhi Chiusi in Mare Aperto”. With more than 500 choir members and more than 10 vocal groups, he is one of the most active conductors in Rome.
